Just installed Traktor Pro 2 for use with the Kontrol S2, it works perfectly besides the fact that no sound is coming from the headphone output. I know this isn't a hardware issue since I'm able to get sound from the headphone jack by changing audio preferences in the settings. I'd like to go a little deeper, so I recently splurged on a MIDI controller & Fast Track Pro audio interface (with 2 stereo outputs for headphone cueing). Problem is, after 3 days of tinkering, researching & cursing, I still can't cue through the headphones on Traktor. Aug 24, 2016 I’d been using Traktor Pro 2 with a Denon MC6000MK1 and MacBook Pro without issue for 2 years. I installed an iTunes update (the one before last) and all of a sudden no sound. Checked everything. Even tried using a mac desktop with pro 2 on it. Assumed it was a hardware issue and I took the MK1 for repair.

If your DJ controller has a built-in audio interface:
- Connect your speakers to the DJ controller's Master output, or output 1-2 (not to the computer's audio output).
- Connect your headphones to the headphones output on the DJ controller.
- In Traktor's Preferences options (macOS: Traktor > Preferences / Windows: Files > Preferences), go to Audio Setup and make sure that your DJ controller is selected as the Audio Device.
- Go to Output Routing, and make sure that:
- The Mixing Mode is set to Internal.
